Green Street is looking for a driven, experienced financial journalist to lead exclusive infrastructure news coverage across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region, focusing on digital and core infrastructure, as well as power, oil & gas and renewable energy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on digging up scoops, building teams, and shaping an editorial vision. If you have a startup mentality and a strong APAC network, we want to hear from you.

• Lead a geographically diverse team covering project finance and M&A across APAC
• Uphold rigorous editorial standards for accuracy, integrity, and balance
• Build a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability
• Partner with colleagues around the world to strengthen our global editorial offering
• Work closely with the Managing Editor and Global Head of News to analyze readership data, sharpen the content mix, and refine audience targeting
• Spot opportunities to deepen coverage and leverage technology to streamline newsroom workflows
• Participate in special reports, rankings, and data-led projects that cement Green Street News as the authority in infrastructure finance
• Represent Green Street News in the market and at industry events

• Extensive experience as a business or financial journalist
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure markets across the Asia-Pacific region
• A track record of leading high-performing news teams
• A proven ability to drive exclusive, market-moving reporting — as an individual contributor or team leader

In addition to a basic salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
