Position Overview

Green Street seeks highly motivated candidates with relevant work experience, a passion for finance and real estate, and superior academic credentials to join its Account Management team. The Account Manager’s primary responsibilities will include servicing existing Green Street News clients, renewing News subscriptions, training/educating client base, and managing existing relationships with critical News accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to create and implement a strategy to increase annual revenue for each key client, actively collect client feedback, and grow the overall relationship. Significant teamwork with the Account Management, Customer Success and New Business teams is expected.

Job Responsibilities

  • Training clients on Green Street’s News and Data services, as well as our methodology and web-based platform 
  • Lead structured onboarding for new Green Street News subscribers, ensuring clients are effectively trained and integrating Green Street News into their workflows from day one
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a Core book of News accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders to drive value
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews, bringing a consultative perspective rooted in each client's investment goals
  • Actively collect and relay client feedback to internal teams to inform product and service improvements
  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase annual revenue within the existing book
  • Partner closely with the Account Management, Customer Success, and New Business teams to ensure a coordinated account strategy

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree with high distinction in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer service environment
  • Superior relationship management skills and a desire to help people
  • Sales-driven personality, a competitive nature
  • Experience negotiating with clients, or a desire to learn
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Competent computer skills to perform essential functions listed above (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Fundamental understanding of financial industry (investment banks, lenders, private equity firms, hedge funds, stocks, bonds, etc.)

Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization

In addition to the posted base salary range, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

USD $70,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
