Position Overview

The Audience Development Executive plays a critical role in shaping the quality and influence of our event audiences. This position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and confirming senior-level individuals who qualify for complimentary attendance. These professionals include:

  • Limited Partners (LPs) – pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, DFIs, etc.
  • General Partners (GPs) – private equity and infrastructure fund managers on the equity side
  • Developers – infrastructure, energy, renewables, transportation, and digital infrastructure developers
  • Investment Consultants – advisory firms and consultants involved in infrastructure allocations and manager selection

The successful candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and deeply curious about the infrastructure investment landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Audience Research and Targeting
    • Working with the Data & Lead Generation Executive to maintain targeted lists of LPs, GPs, developers and investment consultants aligned with each event’s focus
    • Conduct market research to identify new segments, emerging players, and high-value individuals within the infrastructure investment ecosystem.
    • Continually update CRM systems with accurate and relevant audience data.
  • Outreach & Engagement
    • Conduct personalized outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to invite key stakeholders to attend events on a complimentary basis.
    • Communicate the value proposition of each event clearly and compellingly, tailoring messaging to different audience types.
    • Build relationships with prospective attendees and act as a trusted point of contact.
  • Conversion & Confirmation
    • Manage the invitation pipeline from identification to confirmed attendance.
    • Track conversion metrics and continually improve outreach sequences and messaging.
    • Work closely with event production and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding of confirmed attendees.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Partner with content producers to understand event themes, speaker lineups, and topical relevance that resonate with target audiences.
    • Coordinate with marketing to align messaging, audience personas, and promotional activities.
    • Report weekly on audience development progress, pipeline, and metrics.

Candidate Profile

    • Experience in audience development, delegate acquisition, business development, talent sourcing, investor relations, or similar roles.
    • Strong research capabilities.
    • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
    • High level of professionalism and confidence when engaging senior executives.
    • Proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong organization and CRM management skills.

Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization

In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

 

Green Street will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Bulgaria without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

 

The current offer:

  • Hybrid Office Model: 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday) in office in Sofia, 2 days remote
  • Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm EEST
  • Social Benefits: Additional health & life insurance, food voucher and Multisport card
