We are seeking a highly skilled enior Test Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the robustness and reliability of our applications. Our cloud and mobile-based solutions are used for collecting, and processing key retail, and commercial high street data for the investment sector. You will be working on an Agile team dedicated to developing web and mobile application applications used by our clients and an internal team of market researchers to provide the most comprehensive view of Retail Real Estate in the world.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and test frameworks such as NUnit
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create comprehensive test plans
  • Implement and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of new and existing features
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution
  • Optimize test automation processes and frameworks for efficiency and scalability
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior test engineers
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our testing practices
  • Work directly with a development team in London, California offshore development team members in various time zones
  • Able to overlap with US West coast 3 – 4 hours to handle hand-over discussions, triage issues, etc. 

Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or comparable experience 
  • ISTQB certification or similar 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, with a strong portfolio of automated test scripts 
  • Proficiency in C# and experience with test frameworks such as NUnit

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • A continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying current with new technologies
  • Experience with other test frameworks and tools
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization

In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

 

Green Street will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Bulgaria without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

 

The current offer:

  • Hybrid Office Model: 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday) in office in Sofia, 2 days remote
  • Working Hours: 3 days per week 11:00am – 8:00pm, 2 days 9:00am – 6:00pm EEST
